DRBPoll is a simple PHP poll script that doesn't
require a database. It allows you to put a poll
form on virtually any page on your Web site. The
results page displays a colored bar graph of the
votes. The look and feel of the poll form and
results page can be customized using a standard
CSS file. Data is stored in flat files, so no
database is required.

Changes:
This release adds real-time blacklist testing with threshold limits. An IP will be listed as Code 3 if it is listed in at least X RBLs. X can be set by the user, with a minimum value of 2. This should be a good way to protect against false positives while still taking advantage of what RBLs have to offer. A few minor bugfixes related to MaxTTL are included.

key-based authentication is tried-and-true, but it
lacks a true public key infrastructure for key
certification, revocation, and expiration.
Monkeysphere is a framework that uses the OpenPGP
web of trust for these PKI functions. It can be
used in both directions: for users to get
validated host keys, and for hosts to authenticate
users.

License: GNU General Public License v3

Changes:
This release adds info log output when a new key is added to the known_hosts file. It adds some useful output to the ssh-proxycommand for "marginal" cases where keys are found for the host but do not have full validity. It forces ssh-keygen to read from stdin to get the SSH key fingerprint. It will automatically output two copies of the host's public key: one a standard SSH public key file, and the other a minimal OpenPGP key with just the latest valid self-sig. In debian/control, the alternate dependency has been corrected from procfile to procmail (which provides /usr/bin/lockfile).

The media hive is a streaming media server and Web-based content/playlist manager. It emphasizes usability by making it easy to manage a media catalog that contains multiple media types (mp3, mp4, ogg, flac, mpg, and avi), and by providing a very full-featured playlist. It also emphasizes extensibility by making it easy to develop new media parsers, playlist actions, event handlers, skins, and more. It has an entire custom tag library devoted to skin development, making it simple for the non-developer to create radically different Web-based user interfaces. It has no installation dependencies and runs on multiple platforms.

License: Free To Use But Restricted

Changes:
This release features a new Web-based user
interface that merges all the catalog navigation
modes of the previous media hive interfaces into
one consistent UI. Field-level view configuration
is now supported. Cataloging and on-the-fly
reencoding support were added for FLAC, Ogg
Vorbis, and MP4/AAC. The ability to run as a

The interpretation of strings in the DB URI was
changed for boolean parameters: "0", "no", "off",

was fixed with incorrect handling of calls like
connectionForURI(dburi, cache=False) when dburi
already contains some parameters in the URI.
decimal.to_eng_string() was converted to str to
work around a bug in Python 2.5.2. A minor bug in
SQLiteConnection that fails to parse Enum columns
was fixed.

Wt is a C++ library for developing Web
applications with an API that is widget-centric
and inspired by existing C++ graphical user
interface APIs. To the developer, it offers
complete abstraction of any Web-specific
implementation details. Under the hood, the
library uses the latest techniques (AJAX) to
handle user events and update the Web page.

Otk is a portable widget library for making
graphical user interfaces for C programs. It
emphasizes simplicity for the application
programmer without eliminating capability. Based
on OpenGL, Otk supports Linux, Unix, and other OSs
neutrally and efficiently. It is simple and
compact, and it strives for easy compilation and
linking to other applications. In seeking to
address several issues associated with earlier
graphics APIs, Otk explores some interesting
methods, such as window-relative layout instead of
pixel-based layout.

Changes:
Pull-down menus were made to fit within the screen, even when opened too close to the edge. An ability was added to suggest alternate (or recent) directories in the file-browser. Otk now adaptively improves rendering quality for the best display with reasonable speed on given hardware. A function was added to request better quality or better speed. A function was added to right-justify formbox text. A makefile was added for compiling to an object file for linking into applications.

Per-handler information (both ill-formed and mismatched) was changed to use the paired handler function and the opaque parameter, allowing user-level chaining of handlers. Parameters of type void* (and all cv-forms) are supported. The ignore_unreferenced_arguments_scope scoping class, which causes unreferenced arguments to be ignored in the current thread (or the whole process, in the case of single-threaded operation), was added. Several examples were adjusted to work around the template/namespace defect in GCC.

Back In Time is a simple backup system for the GNOME desktop inspired by the "flyback project" and "TimeVault". The backup is done by taking snapshots of a specified set of directories. All you have to do is configure: where to save snapshot, what directories to backup, and when a backup should be done (manually, every hour, every day, every week, or every month). It acts as a "user mode" backup system. This means that you can backup and restore only folders to which you have write access.

NoMachine NX is a fast terminal server and desktop
virtualization system based on the X11 protocol.
NX is an order of magnitude faster than VNC or X11
and can run on bandwidth as narrow as 10 kBit/sec.
In addition, NX translates and embeds the MS
Windows Terminal Server and VNC protocols into
X/NX, enabling users to compress and accelerate
remote Windows and VNC sessions. The NX project
provides a suite of libraries and X11 proxying
agents implementing efficient compression and
optimized transport of X11, SMB, IPP, HTTP, and
arbitrary protocols like audio and video over the
Internet.

Changes:
This version solves some issues which may prevent
printing from working correctly when multi-node
support is enabled. The package also includes
solutions for problems affecting the NX Core. For
example, the NX session could fail during the
reconnection procedure when a font is missing; NX
agent could handle resize at reconnection in an
incorrect way; and painting errors may occur when
screen areas beyond the current viewport become
viewable in NX Client for Windows.

Sutekh is a card collection manager for the game
called "Vampire: the Eternal Struggle" (VtES).
Card information is stored in an SQL database
backend. Current functionality includes parsing
information from the official VtES card list and
ruling HTML files, exporting of decks to HTML and
ARDB XML files, flexible filtering of lists of
cards, backing up and restoring of the card
database, configurable selection of which card
information is displayed, and basic deck analysis.

Changes:
This is the first major stable release since the
0.4.x series. The way cards and card sets are
handled internally has been reworked to be more
intuitive to the user. Card sets may now have
parent sets, and much functionality has been
updated to make use of this new feature. The card
filtering interface was rewritten to be easier to
use. Sutekh has also gained a built-in manual and
tutorial.

Thyrd is an experimental, reflective, visual programming language and environment. In Thyrd, both data and code are stored in cells situated in nested two-dimensional grids. All operations the user can perform to edit the structure are implemented as operators in the Thyrd language, thus a Thyrd program can inspect and modify itself or other programs in the same space. Thyrd belongs to the Forth family of languages. It most resembles Joy in that it uses quotation and combinators to implement iteration and recursion.

DBSight is a J2EE search platform for instant
scalable full-text search on any relational
database, for both beginners and experts. It
features a built-in database crawler following
user-defined SQL, incremental indexing,
user-controllable result ranking, the ability to
return results with highlights (like Google), and
categorized result counts (like Amazon). It can
easily integrate with other languages with
XML/JSON/HTML. There is a UI for all operations,
so no Java coding is necessary. Deleted or updated
records in database can be synchronized also.
